PBR Gemstones Uber Shader for Blender 3.x
A shader node group to create gemstones and minerals in Blender. It follows the PBR standard using the Principled BSDF and can be used with any Blender version from 3.0 onward. It only works with Cycles.
The shader also contains 6 presets to choose from: Crystal, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald, Zaffire and Beryllium. You can create many other minerals by simply adding a color ramp inside the shader.
Features:
- Easy to use shader with all the main parameters exposed for a quick and easy workflow however you can still dive into the node group and modify it at your liking
- Many parameters to customize such as light absorption, refractivity, bump and more. The default parameters are tailored for a gem/mineral object. As such you may need to tweak them if you apply the shader to a different object
- 6 presets utilizing the "Pass Index" inside the "Object Properties" panel for a quick setup
- No UVs necessary
